We are married couple and senior citizens we wish stay in himachal bhavan in chandigarth from 31st Oct. 2008 to 12th Nov. 2008. what is the rate of a non ac room with double bed? also list other facilities you provide

It is a loot out there at Himachal Bhawan. This place is being run as a hotel by HPTDC whereas the land was given to build a guest house where Himachalis could stay at reasonable rates. It is a big problem in Chandigarh to scout accomodation. I hope the UT administration clarifies with the Himachal govt on the status of this Bhawan

I agree!
I like Panchayat Bhavan ( UT ) more then Himachal Bhavan. The rates are almost half (AC rooms) and you will always find one vacant.
