This Saturday traveled back home to Kotgarh as plucking season has started. This year the rains have been pretty good and the apple season started 10 days earlier. Found lush green scenery around. Here a few pics I clicked.

The road leading to my house among apple orchards
Home.. sweet home!! Reached on sunset

Kavyu, the daughter running around in the lawns with the gang.

The clapping sessions in full swing

The mountains..
The valley..

I know.. dad is going back to Shimla..
(she gonna cry)
Here comes the tears..

One last look at the mountains..
and back on road!
Miss you baby…
and the home.

I’d seen the pics yesterday. And I felt so nostalgic, sitting here in Delhi. I miss my house in the village. And it’s been a long long time since I went to m,y village during the Apple Season. It’s always been “given in thekaa” as all the family members are working.
Hmmm… And I’ve always yearned for a little daughter (though I have one 21-year-old) who’d cry when I leave for somewhere.
Also I liked the pics on Flickr, especially - the baby near the dog.
Good pics Nityin. Please keep us posted and make us feel nopstalgic. Lucky you…
